La Azotea Azul

As its name suggests, it is a space designed and created on the rooftop of the hospital itself with the aim of serving the children as an outlet to the outside world, allowing them to connect with their environment and loved ones through play. A way to make their stay easier and their recovery more bearable. La Azote Azul is a beautiful garden where more than 4,000 children can enjoy a year, along with their families and friends. Today alone, 30 to 40 children visit the hospital school every day, trying to make those long hospital hours pass as quickly as possible… Imagine what they will feel when they enjoy the sun and the swings! So that they can develop different activities that contribute to accelerate their recovery, we have resorted to color, nature, swings, theater and magic, all added to the fact that La Azotea Azul is staffed by hospital volunteers in the mornings and afternoons.
